C & G train stop at Malmaison, Home of Chief Greenwood Leflore.
All Trains Will Now Stop at Malmaison
Mr. W. L. Ray and some other citizens of Malmaison and vicinity recently asked the Chamber of Commerce to take up with Superintendent Patton of the Southern Railway, the matter of having trains No. 11 and 12 stop at Malmaison, on flag, to receive and discharge passengers. The railroad administration discontinued this flag stop when it took charge of the railways during the war, and its restoration is a great convenience to the people of that neighborhood.
Superintendent Patton generally does all that he can to accommodate the patrons of his road, and his action in this instance is highly appreciated.
